How is that possible?
We will send you the plan of our standard model “Panther” in its original size. You can create your own body shape on this plan. Take your time. You can also make it a collaborative project with your friends.
Scale length
Fender typically uses a scale length of 25.5 inches. If you have smaller hands, a shorter scale length is an advantage for you (e.g. Gibson 24.75 inches).
Neck rounding
Do you already have a favorite guitar with your preferred neck profile? We can transfer exactly this profile to your new guitar with our “neck copying kit”. You are welcome to download this free kit below in the Request form.
Fretboard radius
In our standard model “Panther” we use a compound radius of 10 by 14 inches. When playing solo, this has the advantage that the string can be "twisted" more easily in the upper positions. We have developed our own special grinding machine for this purpose, which enables us to produce a wide variety of compound radii with high precision.
Neck width
The neck of a Fender electric guitar is usually 42mm wide at the 1st fret. Do you have slightly wider fingers and would like a little more “play” space. A width of 43 or 44mm at the 1st fret can fulfill your wish.
Wood selection body
Mahogany, Cedro, Maple, Ash, Alder...
Do you have any special visual or sound wishes? More and more people are attaching great importance to the guitar being light. Professionals who play for a few hours at a gig really appreciate this. For this reason, we use the tonewood Cedro or also known as “Spanish cedar” for our “Panther” model. The wood does not come from Spain and is not cedar. It is a light type of mahogany from South America with a very beautiful grain. By using Cedro we were able to reduce the weight of our guitar quite a bit.
Wood selection neck
We mainly use European flamed maple that has been stored for over 5 years. Mahogany is also very popular. Do you want a light fingerboard or a dark one. We still have a remaining stock of very high quality ebony. It has been stored for 12 years and is much harder than younger wood. We even had to purchase a more powerful laser machine to laser this wood (because of the inlays).
Inlays fingerboard and headstock
If you decide on metal inlays, every wish is open to you. These inlays are lasered 2-3mm into the wood and then filled with real metal. We use a graphic on the computer as a template for lasering. This makes it possible for us to laser a wide variety of symbols and lettering into the fingerboard.
